Beach life

                                                           Marina di Vecchiano beach

In the north of the mouth of the Arno, bordered by the Natural Park of Migliarino San Rossore Massaciuccoli, lies Marina di Vecchiano, in close proximity to some of the most beautiful art cities and centers of Tuscany.

The long coast stretches with a 4 kilometer long, fine, golden sandy beach from the mouth of the Serchio to the Torre del Lago Puccini, in the background the macchia of Migliarino in one of the few, still unspoilt coastline of Tuscany, with an exceptionally beautiful dunes ecosystem by.

The sea of Vecchiano has a huge, not very crowded beach. The sandy beach is partly free beach and partly a beach equipped with modern and cozy structures, perfectly integrated in the nature and offering a quiet and pleasant hospitality, making Marina di Vecchiano the ideal destination for those who like to spend a holiday in harmony with nature, far from the stress of the city.

The stone pine forest "Macchia di Migliarino", where the soft, amber-colored dunes with the typical vegetation of the Mediterranean scrub present, dominates the beach with its green and it is ideal for regenerating walks.

The suggestive hilly landscape, behind the sea, is ideal for excursions, on foot and on horseback, long walks in the middle of nature, on hilly paths, between the terraces of the "muretti a secco" (the dry, mortarless wall) and the green olives in an area rich in rural and parish churches, churches and belfries and fortresses and castles that make these places unique throughout the year.
